Anatomy sketches. Pretty f***ing self explanatory.

Just some pics of a light box I designed for a school project, I used one of Kate Moon's illustrations, traced it out in illustrator with tiny red dots, laser cut it out and then threaded fiberoptics through each hole. Took longer than it was worth. Im happy with it though, if I ever make somthing similar again I think it will be alot better quality. I'll start the bids @ $40,000. Thanks.

Greg Broadmore

So yeah Greg Broadmore is a pretty awesome dude, I was flipping through a book of concept art from the movie "District 9" which he was the lead concept designer for when i realised how cool his stuff is. He draws robots, and dinosaurs like a baws. Also from what I can gather he has no formal training, he's just one of those dudes who loved drawing so much they eventually made it a carer. He currently works at weta workshop, not too sure exactly what hes doing there, probably doing concepts and what not for the hobbit.

Probably one of my Faviroute artists on the planet, Oakyoh aka Scott Kennedy. He draws these pictures on like A5 paper with the smallest markers he can find. The result is this crazy detail on a tiny page.

First!

So this is my first post. Just  a note to self that I'm going to use this blog as a sort of record of my own work and artists/designers from around the world that I am excited about. I suppose I should record (for historic purposes) that I am currently 23 years of age and studying creative technology's at Weltec Wellington. Moving on to bigger and better things next year. So Yeh ow. Watch this space.
